A calm, sunny Saturday afternoon set the perfect stage for the second round of Division ll Football playoffs at Molasky Stadium. The University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs (3) went head to head against the University of Nebraska-Kearney Lopers (6). Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, not going to happen. The UMD men's hockey team entered the weekend series against Michigan Tech having not recorded a loss on Friday evening all season. In the past weekend, things changed a little bit. Volleyball wins two at home to finish out regular season

The UMD Bulldogs volleyball team ended their regular season at home last weekend at Romano Gymnasium on a high note with a weekend sweep over Upper Iowa and Winona State. Friday night the Bulldogs beat the Upper Iowa Peacocks in a ruthless 3-2 battle.
