I am writing to provide some additional information about UMD's no smoking policy and the recently implemented Alcohol Review Board, both mentioned in Mr. Mitchell's letter to the editor last week. After the smoking policy forum organized by Student Association last semester, Chancellor Martin appointed and asked me to chair a task force of students, faculty and staff to make recommendations to her for increased compliance with UMD's no smoking policy.… Post the First Comment

As a current senior at the University of Minnesota Duluth, I am concerned about the job market when I graduate. Getting a job out of college is ideal for many, if not all students. That is why I am supporting Senator Tom Bakk in the race for governor. Senator Bakk understands the need to create more jobs to get the economy moving again.… Post the First Comment
