UMD students and faculty might have noticed all the free New York Times' in racks around campus. They're delivered daily free of charge to the University and it's students from an arrangement between Casey LaCore in the office of Civic Engagement and Paul Wilson with the New York Times's Minnesota distribution office.
According to LaCore, they'll be free to pick up in the racks until the end of the semester. After that, UMD denizens will once again have to pay for their copy of the "Gray Lady" at the UMD Store in the Kirby Plaza or the desk across from the Statesman office.
