Student still hospitalized from accident

A UMD student was injured in a skateboarding accident on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
According to the Duluth police department, Minh Nguyen was found at 29th Avenue East and Jefferson Street around 3 p.m. He was taken to St. Luke's hospital, where he remains.
This incident occurred only a week after the Outdoors section contained an article about longboarding.
Nguyen, an accounting major and former member of the Phi Alpha Omega fraternity, remains in a coma.
