MTV's Jersey Shore, a great show or the greatest show?

Last week marked the end of the best summer of my life. We laughed, we cried and we went to jail. We fist pumped at Karma and we got in fights on the boardwalk. We will never forget the Jersey Shore.

MTV's Jersey Shore follows the lives of eight guidos and guidettes as they share a house for the summer in Seaside Heights, N.J. The show is both horrifying and fascinating at the same time. Part of me wants to be as loud and fun loving as Snooki, the rest of me wants to take a shower to get the spray tan off, but nobody can pull of a Bump-it quite like Snooki.

The sheer cost to keep enough hair gel in the house must be bankrupting MTV as Pauly D does his hair both in the morning and before going out. Coining the phrase, "GTL," Pauly D makes me want to spend my mornings at the gym, then tan and do laundry.

The alcohol flows as girls happily come home with Vinny, Mike "The Situation," Pauly D and Ronnie. Why are so many girls drawn to these Ed Hardy-wearing douche bags? I would crawl into a hot tub with Vinny anytime, granted I had enough to drink. It has something to do with being mesmerizingly sexy but not someone you take home to your mama.

How did Jersey Shore become the huge hit that it is? I can't tell you. The lives of these 20-something Italian-Americans is an awe-inspiring, fist-pumping and drama filled show, and I love every minute of it.
