Viewing the Beargrease dogsled marathon from a heated helicopter was a real treat. We were able to chase down the competitors we had watched leave the chutes only 20 minutes prior. After stretching the headset over my cartoonishly large head, I was able to communicate swimmingly with our pilot. The pilot flew us into some really great spots to photograph from and gave me a better scope for the masses of Northlanders who came out to watch the races.
