Our voice: Happy People

Lets be clear, I drive a 1982 VW Vanagon that I've lived in for the past two summers. That said, my bias can be assumed. I love happy people. You know, the people that make our days for the most minute reasons.
Example: The lady who sold me my Trampled By Turtles tickets this morning at Pizza Luce. Big smile, happy person.
Example: The lady in Uncle Loui's Cafe this morning who informed the waiter that she had lost three pounds the day prior. I can only speculate as to why she was telling him this, but a happy person nonetheless.
Example: Occasionally I'll miss my bus and have to drive to school. The cheery-voiced parking lot attendant always makes the bending over to pay for parking a bit easier.
Example: Although I'm not crazy about the product, UMD Stores (the upstairs version) is the best place to buy a cup of coffee for one reason. One of the happiest people I have ever come across works there. Colleen, I believe it is, will put a smile on your face. She is just contagious, a true day maker.
Example: The older bus driver on the DTA 13 route. Yes, the one with the great mustache. He'll always return your good morning with a smile and appreciate every "thank you."
Example: Some lady was waiting to cross traffic this morning on fourth street. I did what every VW Vanagon driver would and slowed to let her cross. She responded with one of the warmest, most sincere smiley faces I have ever seen. I have no idea who she is, but she is most definitely a happy person.
