In hopes to beat out Topeka, Kan., and other cities as Google's choice for high-speed Internet, the Google Twin Ports Fiber Initiative as hired a Hollywood director to film the Google Movie. All they need is you.
"We're looking for enthusiastic supporters of all ages," said a spokesman for the initiative.
There will be an open casting call to act in the movie, which is geared to impress the public and Google specifically. No experience is needed; parts include being a member of a large crowd.
The casting call will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on March 13 at the Carnegie Building located at 101 W. Second St., Suite 200.
Portions of the movie will be filmed during the Google Fest rally between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on March 20, at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.
